Lady Enchilada is a 3-4 yr old Chiweenie (chihuahua dachshund mix), 11 lbs. She is a brave, sweet little girl who loves toys, sitting in your lap and cuddles. She loves to play and instigates wrestling with Nacho every day.

Nacho, is a 4-5 yr old, 9 lb Chihuahua. He and Lady E love to snuggle and play. He isn’t as independent as her and follows her everywhere. He also wants to be near his person more and be held. Nacho has bad knees but the vet said there is too much scar tissue to do any surgeries at this point. He will need to be on joint supplements and the occasional anti inflammatory if he has bad days. He gets around just fine though. This has most likely been a lifelong issue for him.

When they came in, both babies had urine burns on their feet, tails and under side from spending time sitting in their own urine at some point. Nacho still has discoloration of his white fur that will hopefully correct itself in time and with baths. Both have hair missing on their ears. I have been rubbing medication into the ears and they are healing now. The hair will grow back slowly.

These babies are fun, loving, and just precious. They love toys and each other. I hope we can find them a home together.

We still need a foster or forever home for Gypsy and Freya. These girls are amazingly sweet. Freya is a very healthy 6 year-old Freya and 10 year old are mother and daughter. Gypsy had some serious skin issues when she arrived and we are still battling them on and off. She has to be bathed once a week and is on medication twice a day to help her heal. Gypsy had a full senior, bloodwork panel done, and other than her skin. She is in great condition. Freya is a healthy little pudgy girl who follows her moms lead. They have never been apart.

Forgotten Paws will be responsible for Gypsy’s medical care until she is healed. To be clear, foster homes are not responsible for any medical care. The last statement was directed towards anyone who is interested in adopting.

Both girls are about 23 pounds. Good with other dogs, children, and cats. PLEASE HELP US HELP THESE GIRLS.

Both are spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Size as Adults: 21 lbs
Housebroken: Yes
Crate Trained:Yes
Good with Kids:No
Good with Dogs:Yes
Good with Cats: No
Adoption Fee:$150

We are in search of a EXPERIENCED FOREVER HOME with experience with special needs dogs. Barkley has no medical issues. All his issues are behavioral. He listens well & is good with other dogs but you cannot touch his feet and he has to be muzzled to be taken to the vet.

Barkley has been with us for a couple of years now. He was abandoned at a kill shelter to be euthanized because he was not good with kids. We pulled him and he is an amazing dog. Barkley loves to curl up on the bed. He plays with toys but the kennel house is very overwhelming for him and he seems to be in high alert even now, a couple of years later.

Barkley needs someone with a quiet but commanding voice. Someone who can let him be for a while so he can adjust to his new home and surroundings. WE NEED YOU TO HELP US HELP HIM OR HE WILL BE HERE FOREVER!

If you have a fenced yard, no kids, and no cats, time and patience, please consider helping us with Barkley. I know he is an amazing dog but we need more info to find him an equally amazing home. I know I am asking a lot but he deserves our love and attention.

Bolo Beagle is a fun, silly, boy who loves to play chase, wrestle and chew on toys with all his dog friends. He has learned to sit and is now housebroken. Whenwe first got him we thought he was a little old man b/c his skin was so bad. He had been seriously neglected but now with proper meds, love, and good food, he is loving his life. After a couple of weeks here he started acting like a puppy which was wonderful to see b/c I don’t think he ever had a good puppyhood. He is now liivng a good life but once he finds a home he will be living his best life for sure!

Neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Bolo requires being kept on an oral flea medication to control his demodex.
