WELCOME TO LUNA'S PAGE

Luna gets her own special page b/c we are DESPERATE to find her a home very quickly b/c she is now headed to boarding!

APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!

4 1/2 years old, 85 lbs, Luna is a total LOVE BUG!

Housebroken, great with kids, loves to go for walks and listens well, Luna just needs someone to take a chance on her and love her!

She could have had 500 homes if she were good with other pets but she is listed as NO OTHER PETS IN THE HOME!

Luna is reactive to other dogs who react to her. As you can see from photos below, our walks at the park have been great b/c these dogs don't react thoer, they just chill out so she does too. She can even go to pet stores BUT, the person holding he leash has to watch for other dogs and tell her to "leave it" and she will walk on her way.

Luna is a couch potato. She likes her short walks but she lives for her Air Conditioning and soft bed or couch of her own. She loves toys and big heavy duty chew bones. She is a PERFECT ANGEL as long as there are no other animals involved.

Luna is awesome with kids! She lived with a 2 year old for a few week but lost that foster home b/c the 2 year old was obssessed with Luna and Luna started hiding from him we knew we needed to move her. She would be great with kids 5 or older. She is super gentle and just gives them little kisses when they hug her. I have absolutely no concerns about her going with kids.

History: I met Luna a year ago and tried to help her. Hre family needed to find her a home b/c after, 2 1/2 years, she and their other two dogs started arguing and getting into fights. We spayed her but her family gave her a way before we could find her a home. A year later, they called b/c she had been returned. She had been traveling around with a workman and he couldn't take care of her in hotels anymore.

Luna has been through several foster homes and lost them all b/c of HUMAN ERROR. 1st one: they never told the apartment complex they had a dog and pit bulls were not allowed. 2nd one: was only a one week emergency. They would have kept her but they had several other animals and rotating the dogs in and out was tough. 3rd one: the little boy I mentioned above and now this current one is being evicted from his home next week (10/25). She also stayed in the kennel for a month.

PLEASE HELP US HELP LUNA. TO HER, SHE IS BEING ABANDONED BY EVERYONE SHE LOVES AND IT WILL EVENTUALY LEAD TO SEPARATION ANXIETY. WE HAVE TO GET HER PLACED BEFORE THIS HAPPENS TO HER

Update 10/19: Luna has SIX days to find a new foster home or she is headed back into boarding. Boarding for 4 weeks sent her into a frenzy b/c she couldn't be confined that long without going stir crazy. She was started on Prozac to help her through those days and now will have to go back to her prison. She has done nothing to be punished like this. I know she is wondering what she is doing wrong that no one loves her and keeps abandoning her. I am the only constant in her life. And if I didn't have other dogs, she would be mine. She is such a sweet girl. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ASAP. All adopters get a two week trial before offical adoption.
